#4 Badger's Den

What looks like a fairly benign tee shot at first glance is chalked full of complexity on closer look. A sandy knob of fescue grass splits the fairway and confronts tee shots deep into the landing area. With plenty of room right, golfers may feel comfortable flailing a tee shot out to the right, only ending up in a large depression with a blind shot into the green (not a bad location for back left pin positions). Tee shots located in the center and left of the fairway allow for a run-up shot and avoid having to carry a dune/bunker outcropping just short of the green. This large, turtle back green features a steep fall of on the left side, while shots with too much speed may also collect out the back and sides of the green.
